Not every new business owner can make the time to learn QuickBooks or take the time to do their own bookkeeping. You probably are better off concentrating on what you do best and outsourcing to a bookkeeper or an accountant. The real problem comes when you, as a business owner, don’t really understand your own financial results. You might be an operational expert at your business and at the top of your field, but if you don’t really know with certainty if you are making or losing money, it’s like being an airplane pilot flying in a fog with no instrument panel.
